Your First Visit

Our restorative dentist Dr. Winter will work with you to establish a solid partnership based on the mutual goal of exceptional dental health and a pleasing smile. We believe that a smile should appropriately reflect who you are. Our goal is to give you such a smile and to provide you with extraordinary service.

Upon arriving for your appointment, you will first be given a tour of our office. A full medical and dental history will be taken to give Dr. Winter a better understanding your current health. Dr. Winter will examine each tooth individually as well as the surrounding gum tissue. She will also explore your jaw joints and chewing muscles, and perform an oral cancer screening. Dr. Winter uses an intraoral camera that allows you to see first hand what she is seeing. A full set of digital x-rays will be taken at this time. This thoroughness enables Dr. Winter to locate any problems, make a diagnosis, and create a treatment plan that is personalized. A free treatment plan appointment will be scheduled before leaving the office. This consultation appointment will give you the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Dr. Winter and discuss your optimal treatment plan. Throughout the process, you and Dr. Winter will become partners in your dental care, and the treatment plan will be one that you and Dr. Winter have together designed to address your specific needs.

During your visit, you can look out of our large office windows and watch small animals, birds, and butterflies in their natural habitat. Each room offers a full body massage unit in a calm, soothing atmosphere. Upon request we offer nitrous oxide gas (laughing gas) for our patients comfort.
